Kenilworth Watch have been in contact with National Grid about the unplanned power interruptions experienced in parts of the town since 2100hrs this evening (23 February 2026).
National Grid have told us that they apologise for the disruption, as their engineers are carrying out a fault-finding process as there is a fault in the area, and this is the quickest way to find the fault & isolate supplies as quickly as possible. They have advised us that they aim to isolate the fault within the first hour.
We have thanked National Grid for providing this information and expressed our thanks for such an open and responsive communications and also asked that our appreciation is sent to the engineers and all National Grid personnel working tonight to restore uninterrupted service.
