Neighbourhood Watch News for Kenilworth
Please be aware that between 02.00hrs on Monday 19 August and 05.00hrs on Tuesday 20 August 2019 offenders have smashed both wing mirrors and the mirror casings on a Renault Clio motor vehicle parked at Spring Lane, Kenilworth.

Emergency services attended at a property at Oaks Road, Kenilworth, following a concern for welfare of a man.
As a result a cordon was put in place and the road was closed. The cordon has subsequently been lifted.
Inspector Warren Ayers from Warwickshire Police said: “Emergency services were called to a property shortly after 13.30hrs on Saturday 17 August 2019, following a concern for welfare of a man in his twenties.
“Sadly the man was later pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious.
“Due to an unidentified substance believed to be in the property, a specialist team attended the incident as a precautionary measure.
“There is not believed to be a wider risk to the public.
“Thank you to everyone for their patience whilst road closures were in place.”
An investigation is ongoing into the incident.
Please be aware that at around 18.00hrs on Wednesday 14 August 2019 a Ford Mondeo that parked outside a property at Park Road, Kenilworth was stolen whilst the driver was delivering goods to the address. The stolen Mondeo made off in the direction of Manor Road.

Between 16:00hrs Thursday 8 August and 20:45hrs Saturday 10 August 2019 unknown offender(s) forced entry into a residential property on Spring Lane, Kenilworth. An untidy search was conducted inside the property. A white Triumph motorcycle (registration ending 11RAT) was stolen from the garage along with four pedal cycles. Jewellery is also believed to have been stolen.

Between 18:00hrs Thursday 08-AUG-2019 and 08:00hrs Monday 12-AUG-2019 unknown offender(s) stole a pedal cycle secured to the bike racks in Talisman Square, Kenilworth. The stolen pedal cycle is described as a blue Raleigh Voyager Trail Hybrid. The stolen bike has 21 gears, a basket and light on the front, black saddle/mudguards and a rear pannier rack.
