Spate of Garden Shed Burglaries – Burton Green & Theft – Castle Green, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 20.00hrs on Monday 21 January and 15.30hrs on Tuesday 22 January 2019 offenders have accessed a garden to a property at Cromwell Lane, Burton Green and entered an unlocked garden shed. A petrol hedge cutter has been stolen.

At some point between Saturday 19 January and Wednesday 23 January 2019 a garden shed belonging to a property atCromwell Lane, Burton Green has been broken into by offenders. A garden vacuum and hedge trimmer have been stolen.

On Tuesday 22 January 2019 offenders have approached the rear of another property at Cromwell Lane, Burton Green and cut barbed wire at the top of 6ft fencing panels.

Please be aware that at some time before 17.30hrs on Wednesday 23 January 2019 offenders have approached a Mini Cooper motor vehicle parked at Castle Green, Kenilworth and unscrewed and stolen a wing mirror from the vehicle.

Garden Shed Burglary – Burton Green & Theft – Kenilworth

GARDEN SHED BURGLARY

Please be aware that between 16.00hrs on Sunday 20 January and 11.00hrs on Tuesday 22 January 2019 offenders have removed a rear fencing panel from a neighbours garden and then broke off padlocks on a garden shed at a property on Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth. The offenders searched the shed but at this stage it is not clear what, if anything has been stolen.

THEFT

Please be aware that between Friday 18 January and Monday 21 January 2019 two pyramid type stones on the top of gateway pillars were stolen from a property frontage at Warwick Road, Kenilworth.

Between 18.00hrs on Friday 19 January and midday on Sunday 20 January 2019 offenders have tried to remove the rear vehicle registration plate from a black Audi Q3 motor vehicle parked in Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth.

Criminal Damage – Arthur Street, Kenilworth

Between the evening of the Saturday 12 January and the morning of Sunday 13 January 2019 unknown offender(s) damaged a silver Volkswagen Golf  that was parked at the roadside on Arthur Street, Kenilworth. The damage looks to have been made to the paintwork by scoring with a sharp instrument

Prompt Arrests made after Attempted Robbery at Kenilworth Common

Arrests made within hours of Attempted Robbery at Kenilworth

Kenilworth Watch News commends Warwickshire Police after two suspects were arrested by police within hours of an attempted robbery that took place at Kenilworth Common, Kenilworth at around midday on Sunday 13 January 2019. The suspects have been Released Under Investigation as enquiries and investigations continue into the event.

A spokesperson for @KenilworthWatch said “While the attempt robbery is a concern let’s recognise the work and commitment of our police who have acted promptly by making arrests folowing this event. It demonstrates that our police are working amongst our community and are rightly focused on the most serious crimes”.

Offenders had attacked a male at Kenilworth Common and tried to obtain his mobile phone and shoes but the victim was able to get up and run away.
