Theft, Burglary & Criminal Damage – Kenilworth

Three incidents of note in Kenilworth have taken place since the Christmas holiday, the details are as follows:

 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Between 16.30hrs on Thursday 27 December and 10.00hrs Friday 28 December 2018 offenders have scratched a large section of the nearside of a red Vauxhall Aguila motor vehicle parked on the road at Regency Drive, Kenilworth.

THEFT

Please be aware that around 09.30hrs on Friday 28 December 2018 offenders broke into a delivery vehicle parked on the frontage of commercial premises in the Clarke’s Avenue vicinity of Warwick Road, Kenilworth. A padlock on the vehicle was forced off with a quantity of cigarettes stolen estimated to be over £1000 in value.

BURGLARY

Please be aware that between 09.00hrs and 18.30hrs on Friday 28 December 2018 offenders have forced a kitchen window and damaged a rear door at a property at Upper Rosemary Hill, Kenilworth. Once inside the property the offenders have carried out an untidy search. At this stage it is not possible to say what may have been stolen.

Burglary -Warwick Road, Kenilworth

Please be aware that at approximately 16.45hrs on Saturday 22 December 2018 a group of male and female offenders have entered commercial premises on Warwick Road, Kenilworth. The offenders then accessed a private area of the premises from where they have stolen £1800 in cash from a safe.

Theft from Commercial Vehicle & Commercial Premises – Kenilworth

THEFT
At around 18.30hrs on Friday 21 December 2018 offenders smashed a side door handle off a white Peugeot Partner van parked near Castle Green, Kenilworth. The offenders then cut a hole approximately 6” x 6” in the back door. . It is not possible to confirm if anything was stolen at the moment.

(Similar offences, involving theft and damage to commercial motor vehicles has also been reported in the Rowington, Lapworth and Hatton areas on the evening of 21 December 2018)

THEFT
Please be aware that between Thursday 20 December and Friday 21 December 2018 offenders have stolen a quantity of HGV batteries from the rear of commercial premises at Farmer Ward Road, Kenilworth.

Burglary – Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 09.00hrs on Friday 14 December and 14.00hrs on Tuesday 18 December 2018 offenders have broken into a garage situated in Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth. A step ladder and drill has been stolen.

Triple Car Key Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that overnight between Sunday 16 December and Monday 17 December 2018 offenders have broken in through a rear door to a property on Fieldgate Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders stole the keys for three vehicles that were parked at the property: A grey Ford Ranger, blue Audi SQ5 and blue VW Golf – All three motor vehicles were then stolen.
