Theft from Motor Vehicle – Leek Wootton

The practice of leaving valuable items in unattended motor vehicles has been highlighted as ill advised once again by an event that took place at Leek Wootton on Monday 16 October.

Please be aware that between 1800hrs and 19.45hrs on Monday 16 October 2018 offenders have smashed the rear passenger side window of a Skoda Superb while parked at the Warwickshire Country Club. Several items inside the vehicle were then stolen including a laptop computer, iPad, wallet and glasses.

Car Key Burglary – Beauchamp Road, Kenilworth

Thrives have broken into a Kenilworth home and taken the keys to a motor vehicle which they have then stolen. The details are as follows:

Please be aware that between 1600hrs on Monday 15 October and 1400hrs on Tuesday 16 October 2018 offenders have entered a property at Beauchamp Road, Kenilworth via a rear window. Once inside the offenders have taken the keys to a Vauxhall Mokka motor vehicle which was parked outside. The offenders have then stolen the motor vehicle.

Burglaries & Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Residents are advised to exercise vigilance in their neighbourhood and keep a keen eye out for any suspicious activity reporting promptly to Warwickshire Police anything of immediate concern. This advice follows news of two events that have taken place over the weekend in Kenilworth.

Please be aware that between 23.45hrs on Saturday 13 October and 0800hrs on Sunday 14 October 2018 offenders have forced a rear door and entered a property at Hodgetts Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders made an untidy search and removed the keys to two motor vehicles. The offenders have then stolen two motor vehicles, a Ford Transit van and a Peugeot Boxer van.

Please be aware that between 1000hrs on Thursday 11 October and 1300hrs on Sunday 14 October 2018 offenders have entered a property through a rear window at Tulip Tree Avenue, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders made an untidy search and stole items of jewellery.

Burglary & Thefts – Kenilworth

Residents are advised of the following incidents that have taken place in Kenilworth.

Please be aware that between midnight on Thursday 11th October and 0800hrs on Friday 12 October 2018 offenders entered a property in Arthur Street, Kenilworth and stole a “De Walt” Breaker. A property immediately adjacent in Arthur Road also had a Gents Carrera Sulcata Mountain bicycle stolen from the rear garden.

Please be aware that between 1800hrs on Friday 12 October and 0900hrs on Saturday 13 October 2018 offenders have entered commercial premises on Warwick Road, Leek Wootton (situated between Kenilworth and Leek Wootton). A number of jockey wheels, caravan wheels and other caravan related equipment has been stolen.

Burglary & Car Theft – Convent Close, Kenilworth

The incidence of homes being entered with the intent of obtaining keys to motor vehicles  continues to take place and householders are advised to remain vigilant and take all appropriate measures to deter offenders from attempting to enter property.

Please be aware that between 2100hrs on Thursday 11 October and 0700hrs on Friday 12 October 2018 offenders have broken into a home at Convent Close, Kenilworth by forcing the rear doors of the property. Once inside the offenders have located and taken the keys to a red VW Golf parked on the drive of the property. The VW Golf was then stolen.
