Car Theft – Kenilworth

Witnesses are sought that may have been in or around the vicinity of Pipers Lane & Spring Lane, Kenilworth between 1000hrs and 1100hrs on Sunday 21 October 2018 during which a white Skoda Fabia motor vehicle, that was parked in Pipers Lane, Kenilworth was stolen. The vehicle was subsequently abandoned in nearby Spring Lane and left with it’s doors open.

Attempted Burglary & Bicycle Thefts – Kenilworth

KENILWORTH residents are advised to keep up their vigilance as a property has been subjected to an attempted burglary which was foiled by the actions of the householder and locked and secured bicycles are being stolen.

Please be aware that at approximately 0345hrs on Sunday 21 October 2018 an offender attempted to gain entry using a metal object on the rear doors to a property at Hob Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth. The householder was alerted and confronted the offender on the front drive of the property. The offender, who was male and wearing grey jumpsuit trousers, ran off along Hob Lane.

Please be aware that between 0800hrs and 1600hrs on Saturday 20 October 2018 offenders have stolen a grey Mamba Trek 29 bicycle, which frame and wheel was locked, from a secure communal bicycle store at a property in Pipers Lane, Kenilworth.

Please be aware that between 2000hrs on Thursday 18 October and 2000hrs on Saturday 20 October 2018 offenders have stolen a locked and secured dark blue and green ‘Specialized’ mountain bike from a car park at the rear of properties in Pipers Lane, Kenilworth. The bicycle has two distinctive and unique markings on the top of the frame.

Bicycle Theft – Webster Avenue, Kenilworth

The need to secure bicycles by using secure storage or with robust locks has been reinforced as another bicycle has been stolen within the town.

Please be aware that between 12 midday and 1530hrs on Friday 19 October 2018 offenders have entered a rear garden of a property at Webster Avenue, Kenilworth and stolen a Gents frame White Carerra Mountain bicycle.

Double Car Key Burglary & Criminal Damage to Motor Vehicles – Kenilworth

A double car key burglary and criminal damage to parked motor vehicles are the latest crimes to have been reported for Kenilworth.

Double Car Key Burglary – Beechwood Croft

Please be aware that between 2330hrs on Thursday 18 October and 0030hrs on Friday 19 October 2018 offenders have broken into a property at Beechwood Croft, Off Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth and taken the keys to Jaguar F Pace and a Range Rover Sport motor vehicles. Both vehicles were then stolen form outside the property. Tracking devices activated on both vehicles which led to the recovery of one vehicle in the Knowle Hill area of the town. It is believed that the tracking device may have been ripped out of the other vehicle as this vehicle has not been recovered.

Criminal Damage – Spring Lane

Please be aware that between 1900hrs on Wednesday 17 October and 0900hrs on Thursday 18 October 2018 offenders have scratched several deep lines along the rear passenger door of a red Mercedes motor vehicle parked at Spring Lane, Kenilworth.

Criminal DamageWhitemoor Road

Please be aware that between 1630hrs and 1700hrs on Tuesday 16 October 2018 offenders have damaged a Peugeot motor vehicle parked in Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth by scratching several lines along the side of the vehicle from the front panel to the rear of the vehicle.

Theft from Motor Vehicle – Leek Wootton

The practice of leaving valuable items in unattended motor vehicles has been highlighted as ill advised once again by an event that took place at Leek Wootton on Monday 16 October.

Please be aware that between 1800hrs and 19.45hrs on Monday 16 October 2018 offenders have smashed the rear passenger side window of a Skoda Superb while parked at the Warwickshire Country Club. Several items inside the vehicle were then stolen including a laptop computer, iPad, wallet and glasses.
