Motorcycle Thefts and Attempted Burglary – Kenilworth

Motor Cycle Theft

Please be aware that between 1200hrs (midday) and 1600hrs on Wednesday 21 May 2025 offender(s) stole a red Honda motorbike from a property at Waverley Road, Kenilworth after cutting its securing locking chain. The motorbike was subsequently recovered by police on Thursday 22 May.

Interference with a Motor Cycle

Please be aware that at approximately 2300hrs on Friday 23 May 2025 an offender has approached a motorbike that was parked and covered at a property at Rounds Hill, Kenilworth. The offender has lifted the cover up to look at the motorbike which activated an alarm. The suspect has run off and then made off on bicycle.

Attempted Burglary

Please be aware that at approximately 0450hrs on Saturday 24 May 2025 offender(s) snapped the handle of rear door on a property at Swift Close, Kenilworth. It is believed the offender(s) may have been trying to obtain keys to vehicle. The offender(s) were enable to gain entry to the property and made off.

Motor Cycle Theft

Please be aware that between 2300hrs on Friday 23 May and 100hrs on Saturday 24 May 2025 offender(s) have stolen, without keys, a white and blue coloured Lexmoto 125 motorcycle from a property at Lancaster Place, Kenilworth.

Motorcycle Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 22.00hrs on Thursday 15 May and 07.00hrs on Friday 16 May 2025 offender(s) have stolen a white Suzuki GSXS 125 motor cycle that parked outside a property at Henry Street, Kenilworth.

The motorcycle was locked and chained with a cover on it but nothing was left at the scene.

Attempted Burglary – Kenilworth

Grange Avenue, Kenilworth

Please be aware that  at approximately 04:30hrs on Monday 12th May 2025 two unknown offenders gained outside access into the side of a property at Grange Avenue, Kenilworth  by they entering through an unlocked gate. The offenders then attempted to break the lock on the back door of the property to gain entry. The offenders made off when they realised the home owner had been disturbed.

Keyless Vehicle Theft, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 2200hrs on Sunday 4 May and 0800hrs on Monday 5 May 2025 offender(s) have stolen a black Jaguar F Pace motor vehicle from a property at Ashfield Road, Kenilworth.

The vehicle was stolen without keys indicating that the offender(s) used a keyless interception device to gain access to the vehicle, start it and steal it.

Car Key Burglary and Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that overnight between 0400hrs and 0500hrs on Wednesday 23 April 2025 offender(s) have snapped the locks of a rear patio door of a home at Lower Ladyes Hill, Kenilworth and entered the property. Once inside they have obtained the keys to a Range Rover (74 registered) and have stolen the vehicle.

Please be aware that overnight between Tuesday 22 April and Wednesday 23 April 2025 offender(s) have snapped the lock on rear doors of a home at Park Close, Kenilworth. Nothing was taken.

Kenilworth Watch advises all householders to give very serious consideration to fitting Anti Snap Locks to all external doors and we have also highlighted local companies and services you can get these products from or have them fitted for you. 

Kenilworth Watch advises;

  • The use of visible robust steering locks such as Milenco or Disclok.
  • Ensure any keys with a remove unlocking ability are placed in a Faraday box or pouch within the home.
  • Do not leave vehicle keys close to a front door or on show within a property.
  • Change door locks on your property to Anti Snap Locks which is a major deterrent to potential intruders
  • Consider CCTV coverage where a vehicle is parked that alerts if movement in the area is detected.
  • Fit a tracking system to the vehicle if one was not fitted when the vehicle was manufactured.
