Cement Mixer Stolen – Kenilworth

THEFT

Please be aware that between 18.00hrs on Sunday 9 June and 08.00hrs on Monday 10 June 2019 offenders have broken into premises at Common Lane, Kenilworth by breaking off a secure chain and locks. Once inside the offenders have stolen a diesel cement mixer.

Double Car Key Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 22.00hrs on Friday 5 June and 09.00hrs on Saturday 6 June 2019 offenders have broken into a property at Warwick Road, Kenilworth by smashing and removing a rear window. Once inside offenders conducted an untidy search and two motor vehicles parked at the property, a red Fiat 500 and a blue/grey Audi Q5 were stolen immediately following the burglary.

Burglary, Criminal Damage & Non-Stop RTC – Kenilworth

BURGLARY

Please be aware that overnight between Thursday 30 May and Friday 31 May 2019 offenders have broken into three parts of the Kenilworth School site at Leyes Lane, Kenilworth. Doors have been forced at several locations and a quad bike has been stolen.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Please be aware that between 00.30hrs and 01.00hrs on Sunday 2 June 2019 offenders have damaged a Honda CRV motor vehicle parked at Finham Road, Kenilworth by tampering and damaging the wing mirrors.

NON-STOP ROAD TRAFFIC COLLISION

Please be aware that between 13.00hrs and 15.00hrs on Friday 31 May 2019 an unknown vehicle has struck a Vauxhall Astra motor vehicle parked at Dudley Road, Kenilworth causing several hundred pounds worth of damage.

Attempt Burglary, ‘Bag Dipping’ Theft & Criminal Damage – Kenilworth

ATTEMPT BURGLARY

Please be aware that between 22.00hrs on Wednesday 29 May and 12.45hrs on Thursday 30 May 2019 offenders have attempted to enter a property at Woodcote Avenue, Kenilworth by trying to force the rear patio doors. While damage to the doors has been sustained the offenders were unsuccessful in gaining entry to the property.

BAG DIPPING THEFT

Attention is drawn to a further ‘bag dipping’ theft that took place between 14.30hrs and 14.40hrs on Tuesday 29 May 2019 at retail premises on Warwick Road, Kenilworth. A female appeared to accidently ‘bump into’ a female senior citizen, shortly afterwards the senior citizen’s black leather purse was missing which contained bank cards, a bus pass and some cash.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Please be aware that between 22.45hrs on Wednesday 29 May and 08.30hrs on Thursday 30 May 2019 offenders have smashed the rear windscreen and severely scratched and scored the paintwork of a red Nissan Micra motor vehicle parked at Fennyland Lane, Kenilworth.

Distraction Purse Theft – Kenilworth

Warwickshire Police are advising people to be extra vigilant when out shopping, particularly if unknown individuals distract or seem to be ‘in your space’. The advice comes after an Senior Citizen in Kenilworth was distracted and had her purse stolen. Please ensure that bags and purses are secured so that they cannot be seen or removed easily from you.

Please be aware that around 16.00hrs on Tuesday 28 May 2019 a senior citizen female whilst out shopping in Kenilworth Town Centre was distracted by a male in retail premises who asked her to try a jacket on so he could see if it would suit his mother. 

The senior citizen obliged and put her shopping bag down for a few moments. Shortly afterwards she noticed her purse containing a quantity of cash had been stolen. The male had left the premises and was described as white, tall and in his twenties.
