Thefts – Albion Street, Abbey End & Cromwell Lane, Kenilworth

THEFT – Albion Street, Kenilworth

Please be aware that at around 11.45hrs on Sunday 7 April 2019 two male offenders using a white box van with tail lift stole the clothing recycling bin at Albion Street, Kenilworth. The offenders used a pallet lift to move the bin to the side of the vehicle before loading it onto the vehicle.

THEFT – Abbey End, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 11.00hrs and 11.30hrs on Tuesday 9 April 2019 a female senior citizen who after completing some shopping was sitting on a bench at Abbey End, Kenilworth when two offenders, a male and female, approached and sat next to her. The offenders distracted her and one of them unzipped the bag belonging to the lady and stole her purse. The purse had a quantity of cash and some bank cards in it.

THEFT – Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth

Please be aware that at approximately 16.00hrs on Tuesday 9 April 2019 a man using a pressure washer at the frontage of a property at Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworthwas approached by a man who stole the pressure washer and drove off in the direction of Tile Hill railway station.

Chimenea Stolen – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 08.00hrs and 14.00hrs on Thursday 4 April 2019 offenders have stolen a chimenea (a free-standing front-loading garden fireplace) from under an archway situated between properties at Laneham Place, off Coventry Road, Kenilworth.

Burglaries – Crackley Lane & Crackley Hill – Kenilworth

BURGLARY – CRACKLEY LANE, KENILWORTH

 
Please be aware that between 23.30hrs and midnight on Tuesday 2 April 2019 offenders have kicked in a door to premises on Crackley Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the premises offenders have stolen several items.

BURGLARIES & CRIMINAL DAMAGE – CRACKLEY HILL, COVENTRY ROAD, KENILWORTH

 

Please be aware that overnight between Tuesday 2 April and Wednesday 3 April 2019 offenders have burgled two properties with criminal damage being sustained at a third property possibly with the intent of committing a third burglary.

 
BURGLARY ONE – Crackley Hill

 
Offenders jemmied and forced a garage door at a property at Crackley Hill, Coventry Road, Kenilworth – once inside the garage the offenders stole a white ‘Kuota Khama’ carbon road bicycle with a black seat and black and red wheels. A second bicycle was stolen being a black ‘Ribble’ bicycle with a ‘Fizik’ seat with a third bicycle also being stolen being a white and red ‘Carrera’ bicycle.

BURGLARY TWO – Crackley Hill

 

Offenders forced a rear gate situated in Princes Drive, Kenilworth to access the rear of a property at Crackley Hill. Offenders searched an insecure shed before entering the property through a side door and garage. Once inside the offenders stole De Walt power tools and an antique camera.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE – Crackley Hill
Offenders forced and smashed a rear gate to a property at Crackley Hill, Coventry Road, Kenilworth. While access to the rear garden and rear of the property was enabled no further offences appear to have been committed.

Mainline Railway Trespass – Kenilworth

Please be aware that around 09.30hrs on Friday 29 March three males were reported trespassing and walking along the main railway line within Kenilworth between Finham Road overbridge and Whitemoor Road overbridge.

British Transport Police would like to hear from anyone that may have seen any persons climbing fences or appearing to access the railway lines in and around Kenilworth or may have any information concerning this incident.

Non stop passenger trains travel through Kenilworth at up to 80 miles per hour and heavy freight trains travel through Kenilworth at up to 75mph, at such speeds both are unable to stop within a mile. 

It is highly dangerous and a criminal offence to trespass on the railway

Wheelchair Theft – Henry Street, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 13.30hrs on and 18.00hrs on Thursday 28 March 2019 offenders have entered the rear garden of a property in Henry Street, Kenilworth and stolen a Milbrook Wheelchair which has a blue frame and black seat and back.
