Police Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Road Collision, Blackdown near Leamington
He was declared dead at the scene. The female driver of the Peugeot 406 was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. She has been released on police bail pending further enquiries. Police investigating the collision would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision which took place on Old Milverton Lane near to the traffic island with the A452. They would also like to hear from anyone who saw either car prior to the collision. The blue Peugeot 406 was travelling towards the traffic island along Old Milverton Lane and the Alfa Romeo was travelling in the opposite direction towards Milverton. The name of the deceased will not be released until formal identification procedures have been completed and close relatives have been informed.

Brazen Theft in Kenilworth – Saturday Night – Butler Close
Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses after brazen thieves walked in through the unlocked front door of a home in Butler Close, Kenilworth and stole the car keys whilst the family was watching TV in another room. After stealing the keys, the thieves stole a grey Audi A3 saloon off the driveway outside.
The burglary occurred sometime between 6.15pm and 9.30pm on Saturday 14 January. Officers checked with neighbours to see if anyone had seen or heard the burglary and are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to please come forward.
This event highlights the need to keep doors secured even when you are in your home. Notwithstanding the loss of a vehicle, which is bad enough, criminals being able to walk into homes provides opportunities for a whole range of different crimes. So please make sure your home is secure whether you are at home or out and about.
