Burglary – Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 09.00hrs on Friday 14 December and 14.00hrs on Tuesday 18 December 2018 offenders have broken into a garage situated in Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth. A step ladder and drill has been stolen.

Triple Car Key Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that overnight between Sunday 16 December and Monday 17 December 2018 offenders have broken in through a rear door to a property on Fieldgate Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders stole the keys for three vehicles that were parked at the property: A grey Ford Ranger, blue Audi SQ5 and blue VW Golf – All three motor vehicles were then stolen.

Car Key Burglary & Suspicious Activity – Kenilworth

A further car key burglary took place on Saturday 15 December, this time at Burton Green. An appeal for alertness and vigilance also goes out as one neighbour witnessed on Thursday (13 December) a male trying front doors and looking through windows in a residential area of the town.

These latest reports should cause all of us to critically look at what we do each day and make sure we are not inadvertently helping criminals to commit crime against us.

CAR KEY BURGLARY – BURTON GREEN, KENILWORTH

Please be aware that between 10.00hrs and 20.15hrs on Saturday 15 December 2018 offenders smashed a window on a rear patio door at a property on Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth to gain entry. Once inside the offenders carried out an untidy search and took the keys to a black Audi Q3 motor vehicle parked on the front drive of the property. The offenders then stole the Audi Q3 motor vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY – KENILWORTH
Please be aware that at around 18.30hrs on Thursday 13 December 2018 a male was witnessed trying door handles to properties and looking through windows in the Rouncil Lane and Lindsey Crescent area of Kenilworth. The vigilance of a person living in the area, who called Police, led to the suspiciously acting male to walk off at speed in the direction of Warwick Road once he realised he had been witnessed.

 
The male was described as being a white male around 6ft with dark hair of thin build and about 20yrs of age wearing grey jogging bottoms and black coat zipped up over his mouth.

Burglary & Attempted Motor Vehicle Theft – Priorsfield Road, Kenilworth

The vigilance and actions of a Kenilworth neighbour helped foil car theives who tried to defrost and steal a vehicle on the drive of a Kenilworth property having broke into the house to get the vehicle keys.

While this latest “Car Key Burglary” is of concern the actions of a neighbour by exercising vigilance shows how being alert can make a difference and contribution to foiling  criminals.

At around 23.00hrs on Thursday 13 December 2018 offenders broke into a property at Priorsfield Road, Kenilworth.

The offenders took the keys to motor vehicles parked on the property drive. The vigilance of a neighbour, who heard the offenders trying to steal the motor vehicle on the drive then shouted at the 4 offenders involved, all of whom were wearing hoodies. This caused the offenders to make off towards Kineton Road. They were unsuccessful in stealing the motor vehicle as a result.

“Bag Dipping’ Theft, Burglary & Theft – Kenilworth

‘BAG DIPPING’ THEFT

Please be aware that at approximately 17.00hrs on Wednesday 12 December 2018 offenders have stolen a pink/red purse from the handbag of female at Warwick Road, Kenilworth. The purse contained a quantity of cash, a railcard and bank cards. One of the bank cards was promptly used to withdraw £300 from the victim’s account.

BURGLARY

Please be aware that between 07.50hrs and 16.44hrs on Wednesday 12 December 2018 offenders have forced the rear patio doors of a property at Dalehouse Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders carried out a search of the property and stolen keys to motor vehicles, items of jewellery, a pair of new trainers, childrens ski jackets and an amount of cash.

THEFT

Please be aware that a parcel that was delivered to a property at Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth that was left outside the property behind a bin by the delivery courier was subsequently stolen by an offender described as a male wearing black trousers, grey trainers, and a hoodie with hi-visibility vest.
