Car Burglary – Kenilworth – Did you see anything?

Police are appealing for information following a car key burglary at an address in Leamington Road, Kenilworth in which two vehicles were stolen. The cars are believed to have been stolen at around 2.30am on Thursday morning, (13 June), which was when the owner was awoken to the sound of tyres screeching.

The burglars forced entry to the house through a patio door at the rear of the house. They stole the keys to a silver BMW M3 and a blue VW Golf, as well as taking a tablet computer. Both cars were fitted with child car seats – the BMW had a black Maxi Cosi car seat and the VW contained a grey Recaro car seat. Also in the VW was a Mammas and Pappas push chair.

Police would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of Leamington Road early on Thursday morning, or anyone who saw the cars being driven away. They would also like to hear from anyone who may have been offered the child seats for sale.
