Spate of Burglaries hits Kenilworth East

2 Burglaries in the last week in Windy Arbour & Park Hill

Between 8.30am and 1.10pm on Thursday 8 July offenders smashed the window of an integral garage at a home in Waverley Road, Kenilworth.  It is not yet clear if anything was stolen. Sometime during the 8 or 9 July offenders also entered a home in Park Hill by smashing the glass in a rear door.  It is not yet clear what was stolen.

On the Friday 9 July offenders forced open the rear door of a home in Windy Arbour, Kenilworth and stole several items. During the night of Friday 9 July into Saturday 10 July offenders entered a Volvo vehicle parked in Berkeley Road, Kenilworth and stole a set of golf clubs from the boot. During the same night offenders also entered an insecure vehicle parked in Ameherst Road, Kenilworth and stole a quantity of loose change. In addition, on the same night offenders entered a brick build garden store in the grounds of a home in Upper Spring Lane.  Several items were stolen.

Crown Watch is all about us looking our for one another. If you are going away for a few days let your Co-ordinator know so we can keep a lookout for anything suspicious. Nightime Burglary in The Close

During the night of 28 into 29 May offenders entered a home in The Close, Kenilworth via a ground floor French window.

Once inside, the offenders made a thorough search of the premises and it is not yet known exactly what was stolen.

April Shower of Burglaries – Highland Road, Redfern Avenue, Stoneleigh Road, Common Lane & Red Lane

During the night of 18 into 19 April offenders forced open the up and over garage door of a home in Highland Road, Kenilworth and ented the premises.  The offender then stole a motorcycle which he failed to lift over a hedge in the rear garden which leads to open farmland.

At 1am on 19 April offenders were disturbed as they broke into a shed at a home in Redfern Avenue, Kenilworth.  The offenders then made off over fences towards Park Hill.

At 4.15am on 19 April the alarm was activated at Woodland Superstores in Common Lane, Kenilworth and witnesses saw two young males forcing open the door.  Three bottles of spirits were stolen.

During the night of 18 into 19 April offenders cut the padlock off the garage at a home in Stoneleigh Road, Kenilworth and entered the building.  A motorcycle and other items were moved but nothing was stolen.

At just before 1.30pm yesterday, 20 April, offenders entered an isolated detached home in Red Lane, Burton Green after forcing open the patio doors.  This activated the intruder alarm.

Once inside the premises the offenders caused damage to the alarm and to internal doors before making off with a variety of electrical items.

Crackley Hill Car Key Burglary

At approximately 19.40hrs on Wednesday evening (17 March) the resident of a home in Crackley Hill, Kenilworth heard a noise at a neighbouring address and went to investigate.

Offenders had smashed the patio door of a house and entered the premises from where they stole a quantity of electrical goods and the keys to a black VW Golf GTI which was then stolen from outside.
