The April 2021 Update for Kenilworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team has now been published and is available here at this link.

Please be aware that between 0215hrs and 0230hrs on Friday 23 April 2021 offenders broke into a property at Fishponds Road, Kenilworth by forcing open the rear door. Once inside they have taken the keys to a black Audi RS4 that was parked at the property. The offenders have then stolen the Audi RS4 motor vehicle.

Between 0650hrs and 0750hrs on Thursday 22 April offenders have forced the lock of a black Citroen C1 Motor Vehicle that was parked near the Greenway on Crackley Lane, Kenilworth. The offenders gained entry to the vehicle and removed the parcel shelf. A number of items were stolen including a set of NHS baby scales and an NHS baby measuring map. The car belongs to a NHS member of staff.

Please be aware that between 1600hrs and 1700hrs on Thursday 22 April 2021 offenders smashed the rear window of a red Mini motor vehicle that was parked at Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth. A handbag that was inside the vehicle was stolen which included a number of items such as bank cards, a mobile phone, keys, and a diary containing personal information.

Kenilworth Watch is appealing to everyone not to leave ANY items of value in unattended motor vehicles whether the motor vehicle is parked at home or elsewhere.

Please be aware that a further theft at Woodland Road, Kenilworth has been reported that took place between 2130hrs on Monday 19 April and 0800hrs on Tuesday 20 April 2021. Offenders entered an unattended dark grey Audi A6 motor vehicle and stole a coat that was inside the vehicle.

Please be aware that between 2230hrs on Monday 19 April and 0600hrs on Tuesday 20 April 2021 offenders have entered a black Peugeot 208 motor vehicle parked at Woodland Road, Kenilworth. Amongst other items a wallet, containing a number of bank cards, was stolen with the bank cards being used by offenders shortly following the theft.

This event highlights the need to avoid leaving items of value in unattended motor vehicles.
