Please be aware that between Monday 27 July 2020 and Midday on Wednesday 5 August 2020 offenders have entered a property at Oaks Road, Kenilworth by forcing entry to a garage door. Once inside the offenders searched a motor vehicle within the garage. It is not clear at this stage what, if anything, was stolen.

Please be aware that several allotment sheds at Gypsy Lane Allotments, Gypsy Lane, off Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth were broken into between midnight and 0300hrs on Tuesday 4 August 2020.

Offenders forced the locks off a number of sheds and number of items, largely garden tools and implements were stolen including a petrol rotovator, petrol lawn mower, Stihl leaf blower and hedge trimmer.

Kenilworth residents are being advised to keep a close eye out for vehicles touring up and down streets showing undue interest in properties. Earlier today a mid size white van with 3 males driving slowly down several roads looking at properties was observed.

However, other different vehicles may be being used so residents are asked to be vigilant and report anything that looks suspicious such as the same vehicle driving up and down the same road or unexpected callers at doors.

If possible, and only if safe to do so, residents are asked to try and take a note of the make and colour of any vehicle and its registration number.

Please be aware that between 00.45hrs and 01.30hrs on Friday 24 July 2020 offenders have attempted to break into a Vauxhall Vivaro motor vehicle parked at Woodcote Avenue, Kenilworth. Due to CCTV alerting householders together with their subsequent vigilance and actions the offenders made off without taking anything in a vehicle believed to be a VW Golf.
