Kenilworth residents are being warned to keep vigilant as 3 burglaries and 1 attempted burglary have taken place in the eastern area of the town.
Incident 333 – Saturday 5 January
At some point before 10.30pm on 5 January offenders broke into a home in Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth through an upstairs bedroom window. Once inside, the offenders carried out an untidy search before making off with several items.
Incident 391 Â Friday 11 January
At just before midnight on 11 January the resident of a home in Common Lane, Kenilworth disturbed an offender who was trying to access the house by using a spade to jemmy open the rear patio doors. The residents shouted at the offender who quickly ran off. It is believed that two males were involved and they made off through neighbouring gardens.
Incident 30 Â Friday 12 January
During the night of 11 into 12 January offenders entered a home in Crackley Crescent, Kenilworth through a living room window and stole the keys to two vehicles. The offenders then left the house through the front door and used the keys to steal the vehicles from outside.
Incident 354 Â Friday 18 January
At some point before 8pm on 18 January offenders entered a home in Inchbrook Road, Kenilworth and stole items of jewellery and a quantity of cash along with other items.
