Offenders got more than they bargained for when they attempted a burglary in Kenilworth. The family pet was having none of their criminal behaviour so bit one of the offenders as they tried to kick the door in through a cat flap! The offenders were doggone as result empty handed.
However residents of Kenilworth are being advised to remain vigilant as Burglaries continue around the town.
Guy Road, Kenilworth – Attempted Burglary
Between 2.45 and 4.45pm on 7 December, offenders attempted to kick in the rear door of a home in Guy Road, Kenilworth, via the catflap and was bitten by the family dog. The offender quickly made off. Incident 303 of 7 December
Inchbrook Road, Kenilworth – Burglary
Between 10am on 9 December and 12.30pm on 11 December, offenders broke into a home in Inchbrook Road, Kenilworth and carried out a search of the bedrooms before making off with a wrist watch and items of jewellery. Incident 323 of 11 December
