Did you see anything? This morning we report an event where several motor vehicles have been damaged in the early hours of Saturday morning (8 December 2018). Two other incidents highlight the need for continued vigilance around our town.
MULTIPLE CRIMINAL DAMAGE – STATION ROAD, KENILWORTH
Please be aware that around 01.00hrs on Saturday 8 December 2018 five male offenders were witnessed damaging eight motor vehicles at Station Road, Kenilworth. One the offenders tried to smash a nearside (passenger side) window of one of the vehicles. A number of wing mirrors belonging to some of these vehicles were ripped off and/or the nearside of parked vehicles have been damaged.

THEFT – COMMON LANE INDUSTRIAL ESTATE, KENILWORTH
At around 12.40pm on Friday 7 December 2018 a silver coloured Mercedes Vito van with no number plates was witnessed driving along Common Lane Industrial Estate, Kenilworth. Two males were witnessed in the vehicle, both wearing brown boiler suits. Shortly after the vehicle left the area an oil cooled radiator measuring 650mm x 350mm that was outside premises was missing presumed taken.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY – QUEENS ROAD, KENILWORTH
Please be aware that overnight between Friday 7 December and Saturday 8 December 2018 an attempted burglary has taken place at Queens Road, Kenilworth. Offenders entered the garden of the property through side gate and attempted to force/burst the lock of the rear door. The lock was of the “anti-snap” design consequently defeating the offenders in their attempt to gain entry to the property via the rear door.
