A further car key burglary took place on Saturday 15 December, this time at Burton Green. An appeal for alertness and vigilance also goes out as one neighbour witnessed on Thursday (13 December) a male trying front doors and looking through windows in a residential area of the town.
These latest reports should cause all of us to critically look at what we do each day and make sure we are not inadvertently helping criminals to commit crime against us.

CAR KEY BURGLARY – BURTON GREEN, KENILWORTH
Please be aware that between 10.00hrs and 20.15hrs on Saturday 15 December 2018 offenders smashed a window on a rear patio door at a property on Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth to gain entry. Once inside the offenders carried out an untidy search and took the keys to a black Audi Q3 motor vehicle parked on the front drive of the property. The offenders then stole the Audi Q3 motor vehicle.

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY – KENILWORTH
Please be aware that at around 18.30hrs on Thursday 13 December 2018 a male was witnessed trying door handles to properties and looking through windows in the Rouncil Lane and Lindsey Crescent area of Kenilworth. The vigilance of a person living in the area, who called Police, led to the suspiciously acting male to walk off at speed in the direction of Warwick Road once he realised he had been witnessed.
The male was described as being a white male around 6ft with dark hair of thin build and about 20yrs of age wearing grey jogging bottoms and black coat zipped up over his mouth.
