Keyless Car Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 2300hrs on Sunday 15 November and 0700hrs on Monday 16 November offenders have stolen a black Range Rover Evoke motor vehicle from a property at Inchbrook Road, Kenilworth. The property was not entered and the vehicle keys were not stolen.

It is likely that a keyless car key reader may have been used to steal the vehicle. Motor vehicle owners who have a keyless entry/operated vehicle are advised to always store their keys inside a “Faraday Cage” (a metal container that prevents a signal being reached or received from the keys).

This is incident 46 of 16 November 2020
