WARWICKSHIRE POLICE issued a £200 fine on Tuesday evening (12 January 2021) against an individual that travelled 15 miles from Bedworth to Kenilworth in the late evening to undertake a “Pokemon Hunt” game. Warwickshire Police have said this was not an essential journey and therefore consider such a journey to be a blatant breach of the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions.
The event reinforces the need for people to follow the government guidelines related to the current lockdown restrictions.
