Motor Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Please be advised that between 1800hrs on Wednesday 26 May and 0900hrs on Thursday 27 May 2021 offenders have stolen a white Range Rover motor vehicle with the ending on the registration plate showing EPU, and that was parked at Jacox Crescent, Kenilworth. The key for this vehicle was not stolen indicating that the theft was one where a device was used to facilitate ‘keyless” entry to the vehicle.

Owners of motor vehicles that have keyless entry are reminded of advice to store vehicle keys in a ‘Faraday’ box or pouch which disables any criminally operated device remotely contacting the motor vehicle’s key.
