To reduce the incidences of burglery and car theft it would be advisable for the police to contact the council with regard to ensuring street lights are on during the hours of darkness.
Currently at midnight all the street lights are switched off, resulting in a haven for thieves.
What I cannot understand the council switched all street lights in Kenilworth to LED therefore there is no excuse for street lights to be switched off during the hous of darkness.
Thanks for your comments. We’d advise that you direct the point you are making to the Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire. His email address is: Philip.Seccombe@warwickshire.pnn.police.uk
