WARWICKSHIRE POLICE are appealing for any information following a number of burglaries that have taken place in Kenilworth in recent days and weeks. Residents with CCTV in or near to the streets listed where burglaries have taken place are being asked to review any CCTV footage for several hours before and after the events.

Some of the events have occurred within the last 24 hours with others over the past few days and weeks. In all cases to date where entry to a property has taken place items of jewellery have been stolen.
Kenilworth Watch are appealing to residents with UPVC type doors to check the type of locks fitted and change them to the “Anti Snap” type. Many standard locks do not offer robust protection and can often easily be punched through enabling entry for criminals within 10 seconds.

The Burglary Details
Between 0720hrs and 1530hrs on Wednesday 27 July 2022 offenders have snapped the lock of a rear door of a property at Fishponds Road, Kenilworth and entered the premises. Items of jewellery were stolen.

Between 0900hrs on Tuesday 26 July and 1015hrs on Wednesday 27 July offenders have tried enter a property at Queens Road, Kenilworth by forcing the lock of the rear door. The offenders were unable to gain entry.

Between 0700hrs and 1530hrs on Monday 25 July 2022 offenders have snapped the lock of a rear door of a property at John O Gaunt Road, Kenilworth and entered the premises. Items of jewellery were stolen.

Between 0830hrs and 1730hrs on Tuesday 26 July 2022 offenders have snapped the lock of a rear door of a property at Barrow Road, Kenilworth and entered the premises. Items of jewellery were stolen.

Between Sunday 17 July and Wednesday 20 July 2022 offenders have broken into a property at Southbank Road, Kenilworth by snapping the lock of a rear patio door. Once inside the offenders have carried out an untidy search and a number of items have been stolen including a Leica X2 camera, Nikon S3 camera 50mm lens.

Between 2000hrs on Sunday 10 July and 1030hrs on Monday 11th July 2022 offenders have snapped the lock of a rear patio door of a property at Angless Way, Kenilworth and entered the premises. Items of jewellery were stolen.

door of a property at Randall Road, Kenilworth and entered the premises. Items of jewellery were stolen.
