Please be aware that between 0020hrs and 1015hrs on Thursday 11 June 2026, offender(s) have gained entry through a rear door by snapping its lock to a property at Bullimore Grove, Kenilworth. Once inside the property, the offender(s) have taken the keys to a Mercedes Benz AMG motor vehicle and have stolen the vehicle from the drive at the property.

This event once again highlights the vulnerability of properties that have not fitted anti-snap locks. Fitting anti-snap locks is highly recommended as an effective way of protecting your home. Anti-snap locks significantly change the dynamics, as criminals avoid attempting to break into properties through doors fitted with Anti-snap locks because it’s extremely difficult to do and involves specialist tools and noise for a prolonged period to try and defeat the lock.
