Please be aware that at approximately 0105hrs on Sunday 25 October 2026, offender(s) snapped the locks of a set of conservatory doors at a property at Beech Drive, Kenilworth. Once inside, the offender(s) found two sets of vehicle keys and stole a white Audi A3 S Line motor vehicle parked outside.
This is Crime Reference 23/47896/26
Residents are reminded that one of the most effective ways to protect their homes and vehicles is to fit anti-snap locks to all exterior doors. Typically, the price of a reputable anti-snap lock is around £60.
A lock that is NOT anti-snap typically takes less than 20 seconds for a burglar to breach it!
Watch the video here to see for yourself. We have previously advised that there are a number of local professional locksmiths who can fit these locks, and we would advise residents to think seriously about fitting them, as they are a real deterrent and do stop intruders because it takes too long to get into your property and they need specialist tools and drill bits to overcome the anti-snap lock.
