Motor Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that at between 12 midday and 13.00hrs on Tuesday 3 September 2019 offenders stole a blue Ford Fiesta that was parked outside a property at Farmer Ward Road, Kenilworth. The owner of the stolen motor vehicle was working at a nearby property when the theft took place.

Suspicious Activity& Theft – Kenilworth

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY

Please be aware that between 10.00hrs and 11.30hrs on Friday 23 August 2019 two males using a grey van approached persons parking and using a supermarket car park in Kenilworth. The males were offering items for sale, using phrases such as a ‘do you want a generator for a couple of quid’. They were also trying to sell other tools. Members of the public are advised not to engage with these individuals or to buy items from them. We advise anyone that is approached to walk away and discreetly, from a place of safety, contact Warwickshire Police on 101 as soon as possible.

THEFT

Please be aware that between Sunday 4 August and Saturday 24 August 2019 offenders have gained entry to a rear garden of a property at Clarendon Road, Kenilworth and stolen a red and black childrens quad bike from a storage tent.

Burglaries & Theft – Kenilworth

BURGLARY

Please be aware that at some point before 10.30hrs on Wednesday 21 August 2019 offenders have stolen a Mercedes Benz 270 Jeep motor vehicle by entering a property at Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth.

BURGLARY

Please be aware that overnight between Wednesday 21 August and 06.16hrs on Thursday 22 august 2019 offenders have broken into a property at Dalehouse Lane, Kenilworth while the occupants were asleep. A 42” plasma TV and purse containing a quantity of cash was taken.

Please be aware that a spare wheel to a Land Rover discovery motor vehicle was stolen frpm the vehicle which was parked at John O Gaunt Road, Kenilworthon Tuesday 20 August 2019.

Criminal Damage – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 02.00hrs on Monday 19 August and 05.00hrs on Tuesday 20 August 2019 offenders have smashed both wing mirrors and the mirror casings on a Renault Clio motor vehicle parked at Spring Lane, Kenilworth.

Incident – Kenilworth

Emergency services attended at a property at Oaks Road, Kenilworth, following a concern for welfare of a man.

As a result a cordon was put in place and the road was closed. The cordon has subsequently been lifted. 

Inspector Warren Ayers from Warwickshire Police said: “Emergency services were called to a property shortly after 13.30hrs on Saturday 17 August 2019, following a concern for welfare of a man in his twenties. 

“Sadly the man was later pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. 

“The death is not currently being treated as suspicious. 

“Due to an unidentified substance believed to be in the property, a specialist team attended the incident as a precautionary measure. 

“There is not believed to be a wider risk to the public. 

“Thank you to everyone for their patience whilst road closures were in place.” 

An investigation is ongoing into the incident.
