Vehicle Stolen – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 1700hrs on Tuesday 27 April and 0630hrs on Wednesday 28 April 2021 offenders have stolen a white Ford Transit motor vehicle from a parking area located at Churchill Avenue, Kenilworth.

Doorstep Callers – Kenilworth

WARWICKSHIRE POLICE are currently dealing with a number of reports of doorstep callers known commonly as “Nottingham Knockers” calling at addresses across Kenilworth including Dalehouse Lane, Beehive Hill, Albion Street, Arthur Street, School Lane.

Officers have intercepted persons and seized some stock from them. At this point no offences have been disclosed and police patrols are ongoing.

Kenilworth residents are advised that they should take care when choosing to open their doors to unexpected callers and doorstep sellers. If in doubt please don’t answer or open the door.

Kenilworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team policing team would like to thank several Kenilworth residents who contacted Warwickshire Police promptly today which has led to the interception of persons selling at doorsteps without a legitimate peddlers licence.

Car Key Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 0215hrs and 0230hrs on Friday 23 April 2021 offenders broke into a property at Fishponds Road, Kenilworth by forcing open the rear door. Once inside they have taken the keys to a black Audi RS4 that was parked at the property. The offenders have then stolen the Audi RS4 motor vehicle.

Further Thefts from Motor Vehicles – Kenilworth

Between 0650hrs and 0750hrs on Thursday 22 April offenders have forced the lock of a black Citroen C1 Motor Vehicle that was parked near the Greenway on Crackley Lane, Kenilworth. The offenders gained entry to the vehicle and removed the parcel shelf. A number of items were stolen including a set of NHS baby scales and an NHS baby measuring map. The car belongs to a NHS member of staff.

Please be aware that between 1600hrs and 1700hrs on Thursday 22 April 2021 offenders smashed the rear window of a red Mini motor vehicle that was parked at Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth. A handbag that was inside the vehicle was stolen which included a number of items such as bank cards, a mobile phone, keys, and a diary containing personal information.
