A452 Kenilworth Ford CLOSED

07.00HRS FRIDAY 15 NOVEMBER 2019

Residents are advised that the A452 at Kenilworth Ford (between Brookside Avenue & Castle Green) is CLOSED due to flooding.

Drivers are advised:

  • to seek and use alternative routes and AVOID the area around Kenilworth Castle.
  • Under no circumstances to enter the water and attempt to drive through the flood at the Ford.
  • Please heed the advice of Warwickshire Police, Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service, Highways Agency and Environment Agency and STAY SAFE.
  • Thefts – Kenilworth

    THEFT

    Please be aware that between Tuesday 5 November and Wednesday 6 November a spare wheel was stolen from the underneath of a Land Rover Discovery whiles it was parked at Fen End Road, near Kenilworth.

    THEFT

    Please be aware that between 14.00hrs and 15.15hrs on Thursday 14 November 2019 offenders in a white transit van have entered the garden of a property at Blackthorn Road, Kenilworth and stolen a RSJ (Rolled Steel Joist) that was along the side of the house. The offenders made off with the RSJ in the white Transit van.

    Attempted Burglary & Theft – Kenilworth

    ATTEMPTED BURGLARY

    Please be aware that between 00.30hrs and 01.00hrs on Wednesday 13 November 2019 4 male offenders wearing dark clothing with hoods attempted to break into a property at Reeve Drive, Kenilworth. The offenders forced open a rear window to the property before being disturbed by the owner who pursued them from the property towards Whateleys Drive. It is believed that the offenders were attempting to break into the property to steal the keys to a motor vehicle parked outside.

    THEFT

    Please be aware that between Tuesday 12 November and Wednesday 13 November 2019 a blue Ford Fiesta motor vehicle parked at Manor Road, Kenilworth had a window smashed and a set of gold clubs that were inside the vehicle were stolen.

    Theft – Kenilworth

    At approximately 14:30hrs Tuesday 05-NOV-2019 unknown offenders entered the grounds of a residential property on Warwick Road, Kenilworth (between Rouncil Lane and the gyratory) and stole a number of power tools. The males were driving a white panel van and are described as two males wearing high-vis jackets.

    Burglaries & Theft – Kenilworth

    BURGLARY

    Please be aware that between 13.00hrs on Monday 28 October and 16.30hrs on Wednesday 30 October 2019 offenders have forced open a rear window and broken into a property at Mercia Avenue, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders carried out an untidy search and a quantity of cash was stolen.

    THEFT

    Please be aware that between 12.30hrs and 14.15hrs on Wednesday 30 October 2019 offenders have stolen 2 petrol ‘Stihl’ hedgecutters, a battery Husqvarna Strimmer and battery Husqvarna hedger cutter from a an Isuzu pick up[ truck that was parked at Forrest Road, Kenilworth.

    VEHICLE THEFT

    Please be aware that at just after 15.00hrs on Wednesday 30 October 2019 offenders have stolen a white Ford Transit van that was parked at Warwick Road (between St.Johns Church and Rouncil Lane), Kenilworth.

    BURGLARY
    Please be aware that between 16.30hrs on Friday 4 October and 11.40hrs on Wednesday 30 October 2019 offenders have gained entry by forcing a rear window of a property at Lindsey Crescent, Kenilworth. Once inside the property the offenders carried out an untidy search.
