Vehicle Registration Plates Stolen – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 14.00hrs and 19.45hrs on Saturday 27 April 2019 offenders have stolen the vehicle registration plates from a silver Mini saloon motor vehicle parked at Moorlands Avenue, Kenilworth.

Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that overnight between Friday 26 April and 10.00hrs on Saturday 27 April 2019 offenders have smashed a window to the side of the front door of a property at Laneham Place, off Coventry Road, Kenilworth. Once inside offenders have carried out an untidy search. It is not clear at this stage what property has been stolen.

Burglary of Outbuildings – Burton Green, Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 20.00hrs on Wednesday 24 April and 09.00hrs on Thursday 25 April 2019 offenders have forced the padlocks on a detached garage and two other outbuildings at Red Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth. Once they gained entry to the buildings they stole a rotavator, chainsawas, compressors, strimmers, a leaf blower and a number of hand tools.

Parcel Van Stolen, Theft of Batteries & Arson – Kenilworth

PARCEL DELIVERY VAN STOLEN

Please be aware that at around 11.15hrs on Tuesday 23 April 2019 a parcels delivery van was stolen while parked as the driver delivered a parcel to an address at Fieldgate Lawn, off Fieldgate Lane, Kenilworth. The van was a white Peugeot Partner van that made off in the direction of Coventry.

SCRAP BATTERIES STOLEN

Please be aware that between 15.30hrs on Monday 22 April and 07.30hrs Tuesday 23 April 2019 a quantity of scrap motor vehicle batteries were stolen from premises at Farmer Ward Road, Kenilworth.

ARSON
Please be aware that around midday on Wednesday 24 April 2019 offenders have entered an area via a public walkthrough at the rear of premises on Warwick Road, Kenilworth and set a large refuse bin on fire with the fire spreading to two further bins. The Fire Brigade had to be called to extinguish the fire.

Easter Crime – Kenilworth

A very unfortunate event has taken place over the Easter period with the Cross of Witness which is always placed at the top of Abbey Hill in Kenilworth being the subject of the unwanted attention of vandals. A Kenilworth Watch News spokesperson said ” This type of mindless and despicable act does not represent the great and lovely town we live in and the caring community we are”. Kenilworth Police are investigating the matter further and details are listed below along with two other events that reinforce the need for all of us to remain alert and vigilant at all times.

 

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Please be aware that between midday on Friday 19 April and 09.30hrs on Easter Monday 21 April 2019 offenders have taken down and smashed up the wooden cross of witness that was erected at the top of Abbey Hill at Abbey Fields, Kenilworth.

ATTEMPT THEFT
Please be aware that at around 02.30hrs on Monday 22 April 2019 offenders were disturbed on agricultural premises at Hob Lane, Kenilworth. They made off without any property being taken.

BURGLARY
Please be aware that overnight between Sunday 21 April and Monday 22 April 2019 offenders have smashed a window and entered premises on Crackley Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the offenders smashed a vending machine.
