Burglaries in Elmdene Road & Clinton Lane

Between 07.40hrs on 10 March  and 00.15hrs on 11 March offenders entered a secure house in Elmdene Road, Kenilworth after forcing open a rear conservatory door.Once inside the house, the offenders carried out an untidy search before making off with several electrical items and a quantity of jewellery.
Sometime between 1 and 13 March offenders stole 2 gents pedal cycles from a shed in the garden of a home in Clinton Lane, Kenilworth.

Burglars Busy Again!-Lindisfarne Drive (off Windy Arbour) and Bodnant Way, Kenilworth

Residents are warned and asked to keep a real close eye on things taking place outside their homes and that of their neighbours. The following burglaries occurred at homes in Kenilworth during the morning of Thursday 20 January 2011

Between 8.50am and 1pm on 20 January offenders smashed the glass in the rear door of a home in Lindisfarne Drive, Kenilworth and entered the house.  Once inside, the offenders stole four laptop computers and items of jewellery.

Between 8.30am and 2pm on the same date offenders forced open the front door of a home in Bodnant Way, Kenilworth and entered the premises.  Once inside, the offenders stole the keys to a Subaru vehicle which was parked outside.  The offenders then used the keys to steal the vehicle which was later recovered in Coventry.

Burglaries in Kenilworth continue…

Further burglaries have taken place at homes in Littleton Close, Kenilworth & Hob Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth

At 11.30pm on 8 January 2011 three male offenders forced open the door of a home in Littleton Close and activated the intruder alarm. Neighbours witnessed the offenders running from the scene and get into a waiting car before making off.

At 1pm on11 January 2011 offenders used a length of copper pipe to smash a window at the rear of a home in Hob Lane, Burton Green.  This activated the intruder alarm.  A neighbour checked the premises out a short while later but the offenders had made off.

Sunday Night Robbery at Abbey Fields

Incident 357, 9 January 2011
Police in Kenilworth are investigating a robbery which occurred in Abbey Fields last night, Sunday January 9, and are appealing for information from members of the public.
Shortly before 19.30hrs a 48 year old man was walking through Abbey Fields towards Kenilworth and when he was near to the swimming pool was approached by four males from the swings area.
The males surrounded the man, punched him and stole his wallet containing cash and bank cards, a mobile phone and glasses.
The man suffered minor facial injuries and had pain in his arm. He did not require medical attention.
Police conducted a search of the area during which the glasses were recovered.
The offenders are described as aged between 14 and 16 years old. Two were white and two Asian. All were wearing hoods and had their faces covered.
Officers investigating this incident would like to hear from anyone who was in Abbey Fields last night and either witnessed the incident or saw the offenders before or after it occurred.

More New Year Burglaries, this time in Hermitage Way and Station Road, Kenilworth

Burglaries at homes in Station Road & Hermitage Way, Kenilworth

During the night of 3 into 4 January offenders entered a home in Station Road, Kenilworth after smashing a window. Once inside the house the offenders stole power tools from a cupboard.

Sometime between 2am and 2pm on 5 January offenders smashed the rear kitchen window of a home in Hermitage Way, Kenilworth and then entered the premises. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.
