Car Key Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that at around 0115hrs on Monday 7 April 2025 offenders/s have smashed the glass of a rear door of a property at Cromwell Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth and entered the property. Once inside the offenders located the keys to a black Audi RS3 motor vehicle. No other items were taken from the house.

The offender/s then stole the Audi RS3 motor vehicle making off towards Tile Hill.

Burglary – Kenilworth

Please be aware that at approximately 1400hrs on Tuesday 25 March 2025 offender(s) smashed the glass pane on the bottom of a door at a property at Hodgetts Lane, Burton Green, Kenilworth. 

Once the window was smashed the offender(s) entered the property but were disturbed by the householder and made off in a waiting vehicle which sounded its horn three times before making off from the scene.

Keyless Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 2000hrs on 0730hrs on Thursday 20 March and 0800hrs on Friday 21 March 2025 offenders have stolen a white BMW X6 motor vehicle from the drive of a property at The Wardens, Kenilworth. The vehicle was stolen without keys indicating that the offender(s) used a keyless vehicle interception device.

This is the third event within a week of vehicles being targeted by thieves in Kenilworth using keyless entry interception devices. The first attempt at Priorsfield Road, failed because the vehicle owner used a Faraday Box to prevent the interception of the keyless signal from the vehicle keys. The second incident at Harlech Close and this third incident at The Wardens have succeeded, most likely because the offender(s) have been able to access the vehicle key signal using an interception device.

Keyless Car Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that at around 1300hrs on Tuesday 18 March 2025 offender(s) have stolen a BMW motor vehicle from a property at Harlech Close, Kenilworth. The vehicle was stolen without keys indicating that the offender(s) used a keyless interception device to gain access to the vehicle, start it and steal it.

This is the second event within two days of vehicles being targeted by thieves in Kenilworth using keyless entry interception devices. The first attempt at Priorsfield Road, failed because the vehicle owner used a Faraday Box to prevent the interception of the keyless signal from the vehicle keys.

Attempted Burglary – Kenilworth

Incident reference 257 of 17/03/2025 

Please be aware that between 0830hrs and 1730hrs on Monday 17th March unknown offender(s) attempted to gain entry to a property via a garage at Windy Arbour, Kenilworth.

Fortunately no entry was gained to the property.
