Proactive policing leads to Class A drugs seizure and arrests in Kenilworth

Two simultaneous drugs warrants were carried out in Kenilworth on Wednesday 19 June 2013 have resulted in the seizure of a quantity of drugs, believed to be Class A.
Officers from Leamington’s Priority Policing Area (PPA) team joined forces with Kenilworth’s Safer Neighbourhood Team to execute the warrants early on Wednesday morning (19 June) in Whitemoor Road and Arlidge Crescent.
Drugs were discovered at one property and a man, aged 45, was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs. Following questioning he was released on bail until 12 July 2013 whilst police enquiries continue.
Sergeant Alan Edwards from Leamington’s PPA team said: “We firmly believe that the warrants we carried out today will help disrupt criminal activity not only in Kenilworth but Leamington Spa too.”
