Between 6.30am and 6.45am on Wednesday 28 December 2016, three male offenders, with their faces covered, entered a newsagents shop in Queen Street, Cubbington.
One of the males was armed with a handgun which he pointed at a shop assistant. Another male took hold of the assistant by her shoulders and placed his hand over her mouth, telling her not to scream and she would not be hurt. He then demanded keys, which were handed over.
The offenders used the keys to open an ATM machine and remove a quantity of cash before filling Costcutter carrier bags with cigarettes from behind the till, along with cash from the till.
The offenders then exited the shop and made off. The shop assistant was shaken but unhurt in the incident.
