Second Report of Criminals Prowling Around (AMENDED)

Earlier today Kenilworth residents were warned to heighten their vigilance after a number of attempted burglaries have occurred in the past few days. One property has been burgled with a car also being stolen too. Now a second and further report has come through this afternoon to Crown Watch about another attempted crime in the early hours of today (17 September 2015). Details are as follows:

An attempt to gain entry on a premises in Rouncil Lane, Kenilworth took place at 03.52hrs this morning 17 September 2015 . A window was damaged and some beading was removed but no entry was gained .

Criminals Prowling around Kenilworth

Kenilworth residents are being warned to heighten their vigilance after a number of attempted burglaries have occurred in the past few days. One property has been burgled with a car also being stolen too. A further report has come through this afternoon to Crown Watch about a further attempted crime over the night of the 15/16 September 2015. Details are as follows:

During the evening of the 15 September 2015 into the morning of the 16 September 2015 an attempt burglary took place on a house at Warwick Rd, Kenilworth. A window was damaged and the beading had been removed – thankfully no entry was gained.

Keep a Keen Eye – Criminals are poking around Kenilworth again!

Earlier today we reported on a burglary that took place in Windy Arbour, Kenilworth.  between 8 and 15 September 2015.  Offenders broke into the home whilst the residents were away, and carried out an untidy search. They stole items of jewellery including a Rolex watch as well as the keys to an Audi A4 vehicle which were then used to steal the Audi from the driveway. At just before 9pm on 11 September 2015, offenders attempted to get into a home in Amherst Road, Kenilworth by smashing the glass in a rear door. The sound of smashing glass alerted the resident of the house who investigated and saw a lever type instrument being used. Once they realised that they had been discovered, the offenders fled empty handed. Reference; Warwickshire Police 0367 of 11/09/15

At just after 01.30hrs on 14 September 2015, a witness reported a burglary in progress at commercial units at the junction of Farmer Ward Road with Whitemoor Road, Kenilworth. Offenders with torches were seen. It is not clear as yet if anything and what was stolen. Reference; Warwickshire Police Incident 0011 of 14/09/15

Valuables and Car taken in Windy Arbour Burglary

A burglary took place between the 8th September 2015 and 15th September 2015 at a property in Windy Arbour, Kenilworth.

An untidy search within the property was made and several items were taken including a Rolex watch together with the owners vehicle, a grey Audi A4 .

Attempted Burglary – Eden Croft, Kenilworth

At 0200hrs on 28 August 2015 an occupied property in Eden Croft, Kenilworth was subjected to attempt burglary. A noise was heard by the occupier and after switching the house lights on and going downstairs the householder found that the kitchen window and door to the utility room had been damaged. The door handle had been taken off along with the door lock. The offenders did not gain access to the house .
