Thefts from Vehicles – Kenilworth

Please be aware that the following thefts have taken place in the Kenilworth area.

At School Lane, Kenilworth both wing mirrors have been taken from a blue Peugeot 106 motor vehicle between 18:00hrs on Sunday 6 October and 09:00hrs on Tuesday 8 October 2024.

This is crime reference 23/43171/24

 

At Cromwell Lane, Kenilworth offenders entered a Ford Ranger at around 02:40hrs on Wednesday 9 October 2024. The vehicle was parked on a driveway and the offenders were disturbed by the home owner, however, items were taken from inside vehicle.

Keyless Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Please beware that between 1200 midday and 1820hrs on Sunday 6 October 2024 offenders have stolen a Range Rover Discovery from a driveway at Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth. The theft was carried by foiling a keyless entry on the vehicle.

As subscribers to Kenilworth Watch will know one of the crimes that we report with our crime alerts is the theft of motor vehicles in and around Kenilworth that have keyless entry system to which some criminals use interception techniques to foil and steal the vehicle, often from the private drive of the home where the vehicle owner lives.

While vehicle theft in Kenilworth has significantly fallen this year we believe it is foolish to be become complacent and this latest theft reinforces that view.

Vehicle Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between 1500hrs on Thursday 3 October and 0800hrs on Friday 4 October 2024 offenders have stolen, by unknown means, a Citroen C4 motor vehicle that was parked on premises at Princes Drive Industrial Estate, Coventry Road, Kenilworth.

Theft – Kenilworth

Please be aware that between Friday 27 September and Monday 30 September 2024 offenders have taken down two security fence panels at a building site on Glasshouse Lane, Kenilworth. Once inside the site the offenders have stolen approximately 500 metres of timber and 12 window boards.

Theft – Kenilworth

Warwickshire Police are asking for anyone that may have witnessed a till snatch that took place at retail premises at Leyes Lane, Kenilworth between 1900hrs and 1930hrs on Thursday 12 September 2024 to get in contact with them on 101.

A male offender described as white, in his 40’s wearing a dark blue jacket and black hat snatched money from the till inside the retail premises and then made off in a black VW Golf towards Kenilworth School & Six Form.
