Two incidents over the past couple of days highlight the fact that criminals are prowling around our neighbourhood and community looking for opportunities. The latest incidents have taken place in the eastern end of the town. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and to report anything that looks or seems unusual or that is suspicious.
The latest events are detailed as follows:
Clifden Grove (on Lulworth Park estate off Dalehouse Lane), Kenilworth
Between 20.00hrs on 30th January 2018 and 21.00hrs on 31st January 2018, unknown offender/s have entered a rear door of a home in Clifden Grove, Kenilworth by removing the beading around the door. Once inside an untidy search took place and electrical household items were taken along with iPads. The offender/s made their escape through the front door of the property. Crewe Lane. Kenilworth
Between 23.30hrs on 24 January 2018 and midday on 25 January 2018, offenders smashed the passenger side window on a vehicle parked in Crewe Lane, Kenilworth and stole a handbag and contents from inside the car.
