Attempted Burglary – Eden Croft, Kenilworth

At 0200hrs on 28 August 2015 an occupied property in Eden Croft, Kenilworth was subjected to attempt burglary. A noise was heard by the occupier and after switching the house lights on and going downstairs the householder found that the kitchen window and door to the utility room had been damaged. The door handle had been taken off along with the door lock. The offenders did not gain access to the house .

Second Motorcycle Theft in Kenilworth in a Week

During the night of the 25 July 2015 and 26 July 2015 a Black “SYM” 61 REG motorcycle was stolen outside the owners address in Albion Street, Kenilworth. If anyone has any ifAny information about this or the previous stolen motor cycle on 22 July 2015 at St Johns Street please call 101 quoting incident number – 0096 – 26/7/2015.

Caravan Theft, Kenilworth

Between 22.00hrs on the 23 July 2015 and 08.00hrs on the 24 July 2015 a White ELDDIS caravan complete with satellite dome on the roof was stolen from the industrial estate off Common Lane, Kenilworth.

Motorcycle Theft – St Johns, Kenilworth

On the 22 July 2015 a silver Honda Varadero 125 XL Motorcycle (60 Reg) was stolen from the rear of a property in ST JOHNS STREET, Kenilworth.
This took place sometime between 23.00hrs 22/07/15 and 08.00hrs 23/07/15

More Unlocked Vehicles = More Thefts in Kenilworth

Despite countless warnings from Warwickshire Police and Crown Watch some residents in Kenilworth continue to leave vehicles unlocked and valuables within them! The consequence is that sooner or later a criminal will help themselves. That’s what happened last week (details below).

We can expect more such events as criminals are attracted to Kenilworth for ‘easy pickings’ with unlocked cars containing laptops, sat navs and other valuables inside.

In the early hours of 18th July (between Friday midnight and 10am on Saturday morning) unknown offender/s entered insecured vehicles and stole valuables from within.

The three areas where these crimes were committed were Barrowfield Court car park off Barrowfield Lane, Towers Close and Dudley Road.
